Hi Friends,
Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadian 🇨🇦
I'm writing this from Liam's hospital room, and I'm so happy to share that he's doing really well. He's back to his goofy, smiling self—and today, he even stood up on his own for the first time since surgery. ❤️
Tomorrow night, his dad is taking over the hospital shift, which means I'll be able to join our AI Happy Hour and AI After Dark events at ERIA. It'll be my first evening back with the community, and I'd love to see many of you there.
Thank you again for all the love, prayers, messages, and support you've shown our family over the past week. It has meant more than you'll ever know.

The Wins We Don't Celebrate Enough
It's funny what we celebrate.
A founder raises $100 million.
Someone buys a beautiful mansion.
A friend posts photos from an incredible vacation.
An entrepreneur announces they've exited their company.
These are the wins we see every day on social.
They're impressive. They deserve to be celebrated.
But after spending the last seven days living inside a children's hospital, my definition of success changed.
Here, nobody talks about valuations.
Nobody cares about job titles.
Nobody asks what car you drive or how many followers you have.
Instead, I watched a little boy take his very first steps after months of therapy.
I watched parents break down in tears because a doctor told them their child was finally in remission.
I watched a child light up with excitement because they were finally strong enough to visit the cafeteria.
Yesterday, Liam smiled from ear to ear because he got to go to the playroom.
A week ago, I wouldn't have thought twice about a playroom.
Today, it feels like Disneyland.
It's amazing how quickly life reminds you what actually matters.
The biggest victories we'll ever experience rarely make LinkedIn.
They're quiet.
Getting good news after weeks of uncertainty.
Hearing, "The surgery was successful."
Taking one more step than yesterday.
Watching someone you love smile after days of pain.
Making it home.
These are the wins that change people's lives.
And they deserve to be celebrated just as much — if not more — than the milestones we post online.
So over the next few weeks, I want to celebrate the wins we don't talk about.
Not the funding rounds.
Not the promotions.
Not the dream vacations.
The quiet victories that changed your life.
Maybe you beat cancer.
Maybe you finally became sober.
Maybe you left a relationship that was hurting you.
Maybe you held your newborn for the first time.
Maybe you made it through a day you didn't think you could.
Or maybe your win is something only you will ever understand.
