Hi Friends,
This weekend, I didn’t have my kids — they’re out of town in Arkansas with their dad — so I kept things pretty low-key. I spent time recovering from my cold with my best friends Amanda and Sako, and with my parents.
One of my favorite things about being Lebanese is how close we are with family and community. You can show up unannounced, and there’s always fresh Lebanese food (Kousa and Molokhia are my favorite dishes!), and people who make you feel at home.
I don’t take that for granted.
